Baroda is a wonderful city which is situated in the state of Gujarat. Presently, it is named as Vadodara and becomes the most popular tourist destination in the world. The city is located at the banks of River Vishwamitr and has numerous interesting places that one can visit in the vicinity of the city of Baroda. Sri Aurobindo Ashram is situated at Dandia Bazar in the core of the city of Vadodara. Here, one will find Relics of Shri Aurobindo are and it is open to all for meditation. Moreover, this scared temple has a library, study room and sales emporium.

Ajwa
Ajwa is a lake that is found about 10 miles east of the city of Vadodara that was built early 20th century by the then ruler of Vadodara, Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. The aim behind its construction is to provide water to the residents of Vadodara. It is directly link up with the Vishwamitri River which flows through the city of Baroda, so that excess water would be dispatched to this river.

Baroda Weather

The climate of Baroda is a mix of tropical and savannah type of climates. It has varied climatic according to the seasons.

The summer season is from the month of March and lasts till June are hot with a temperatures range from a minimum of 23°C and can rise up to a maximum of 36°C.

The monsoon starts in mid June and ends in the month of September offers many rains.

The winter season is from November to February are the coldest part of the year to enjoy winds that blow in from the North.
