History
It has a legendary past that depicts our Indian ancient take which dates back to the early years of the 12th century. As a token of gratitude, the king of this town has constructed a town with the assistance of Kempe Gowda and named it as Benda Kalooru, the meaning of which is baked beans. During a hunting trip, Veera Ballalla, king of the Deccan plateau had lost his way in the deep forest and then an old lady met in the deep woods generously treated him with seared beans. After the rule of the Vijayanagara Empire, Bangalore had been ruled over by so many dynasties. In 1759, Haider Ali rose to the thrown of Mysore and Bangalore gained eminence under the rule of his son Tipu Sultan. In the fourth Anglo Mysore war, he is defeated in the year 1799. In the same year they shifted the place of resident of Mysore State to Bangalore and later in 1831, that Bangalore has been officially announced as the capital of the Mysore State. It was continued to be the same till the birth of a new state named as Karnataka.
From subsequent decades, Bangalore had shown a constant development with the advent of private companies and multi national companies. Till the end of the 20th century, this city has become the main focus centre of India’s IT revolution.

Bangalore Palace

Vidhana Soudha
Vidhana Soudha is a dignified building built exclusively of dressed Bangalore granite of 46 meter high. It is a shrine to temple architecture known as Bangalore’s best landmark. The entire construction is constructed on the Indian tradition style of architecture. It has four corners and each has four domes. The main gateway is covered with the four headed lion representing the power of Indian sovereignty.

Lord Cubbon was laid out Cubbon Park in 300 acres of abundant serenity in the year 1864. In the present days, this Park is like a haven of Green foliage located in the midst of modern Bangalore. Tipu Sultan's Palace
Tipu Sultan's Palace is placed nearby the fort. Now, it is converted to a museum. Hyder Ali was started the construction of the building of it was completed by Tipu Sultan. The complete construction of the Palace was completed in the year 1791 in ten years to plan and construct the palace. It is a twin storied flowery wooden structure. It has columns, curves and balconies lying with gardens on both sides of the path.
